Bangladesh is one of the leading garments manufacturing country in the world. The garments produced here, are exported to Europe, U.S.A & Canada. Garments exports is the main foreign exchange earning source of Bangladesh.
With such a back drop, Sigma group has incorporated Sigma Fashions Ltd. & Sigma Washing Ltd. to produce & wash garments for export to Europe, U.S. A & Canada. The factories are constructed in Ashulia only 30 minutes drive from Dhaka On a total land of 380 decimal Sigma Fashions Ltd. & Sigma Washing Ltd. has built up areas of 1,25,000 & 62,000 Sft. respectively. Also the combined utility building is of area 11,500 sft. The factories are constructed meeting all the compliance requirements of major brands like Levis, GAP, Next, Marks & Spencer, Dockers, Zara, C&A.
Both units are now schedule to go into commercial production by January, 2010. When comissioned, the factories will create job opportunities for more than 2500 people.
